Detroit Tigers Opening Day
While there is lots of buzz about football this month in Detroit, we still have to give some love to our Tigers as they have their home opener this weekend and kick off a new season. Don’t miss all of the excitement, including tailgates and parties to celebrate all weekend long!
On The Clock Tour
The On The Clock Tour is a neighborhood event program that will bring the fun and excitement of football to residents across the seven districts of the City of Detroit ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light. Hang out in Hockeytown
The Detroit Red Wings will be celebrating the return of baseball with Tigers night at Little Caesars Arena! Root for the Red Wings as they take on the New York Rangers this Friday, April 5 and be sure to get there early to snag a dual-branded Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings hat!
All Things Detroit Day 10-Year Anniversary
All Things Detroit Day, founded by Jennyfer Crawford-Williams of Ask Jennyfer, is a day-long, independently curated shop-local experience, and food truck rally. It draws thousands of visitors and spans three sheds of Detroit's historic Eastern Market. More than 200 carefully chosen local makers come together each time to sell handcrafted art, food, home, and garden goods. To celebrate 10 years, there will be tons of special activities, food, and entertainment.
Detroit International Festival of Animation
Immerse yourself in an eclectic 99-minute mix of animated shorts showcasing a vibrant selection of works from both local and international animators. Set in the historic Senate Theater in Detroit, this 1920s Art Deco gem is not only known for its visual charm but also houses the world’s 8th largest Wurlitzer pipe organ. Enjoy the classic concession stand, comfortable lounging areas, and the added convenience of secure parking.
Royal Oak Bourbon Festival
Royal Oak Bourbon Fest is an indoor bourbon festival hosted at Royal Oak Farmers Market. This festival will feature 200+ whiskeys and bourbons, store picks, classic cocktails, and high-end bottle sections. Most of the list is bourbon but there will be a few non-bourbon options such as beer, wine & non-alcoholic options.
Peninsular Printmaker Fair
The Peninsular Printmaker Fair is an all-Michigander printmaker fair, and 2024 will serve as the inaugural event! It will bring together printmakers throughout the state for a market at Urbanrest Brewery in Ferndale. At the Peninsular Printmaker Fair attendees will be able to purchase artist-made original prints, view demonstrations, enjoy Urbanrest’s beverages, and visit food trucks.
Main Street Mini Masters
The Main Street Mini Masters is 18 holes of miniature golf along Kercheval, in a golf tournament format. Foursomes in two flights – family and adult – will test their putting skills along 18 challenging and fun holes. Swag bags, hotdog lunches, and prizes are included for participants. Activity tents featuring arts and crafts, games, a DJ, a selfie station, and more will round out the event area.
Cars and Coffee
Come out on the first Saturday of each month for the largest Cars & Coffee event in Michigan! Share this massive monthly tradition with your fellow auto-enthusiasts to showcase their vehicles. Each event has a special vehicle theme. Selected vehicles matching the theme and members of the M1 Concourse Car Club will be displayed in the arena parking. All other vehicles are welcome and will park trackside.
